Book Shelf Guide

Book Shelf is where you put the list of your books. Books will be automatically displayed in your homepage.

How To Add Book

  1. Click"Add New Book"button. A new empty book slot will appear shortly.
  2. Fill out the form. Note: All fields are required.
  3. Add a book thumbnail image by clicking the"No Thumbs"graphic. An"Edit Thumbnail"dialog box will open.
  4. Select the image you want to add. There are four ways to add a thumbnail:
    1. Uploading directly from your computer
    2. Adding an image from a URL
    3. Adding image from your Gallery
    4. Adding image from your Media Library

  5. After you have selected an image. Click the"Insert into Post"button. Note:"Insert into Post"button might be hidden depending on the method you have chosen from Step 4. Click the"Show"link on the far right side of the image to toggle on the details.
  6. Click the"Save Changes"button to save your book.

How To Replace Book Thumbnail

  1. Hover your mouse pointer on the current book thumbnail.
  2. Click the"Edit Thumbnail"link that appears.
  3. Follow Steps 4&5 on"How To Add Book".
  4. Click the"Save Changes"button to save your new book thumbnail.

How To Delete Books

  1. Locate and click the"Delete"button on the book slot.
  2. If the book is already in the database, you will be alerted that you will be deleting the book. Click"OK"to proceed.
  3. Your book will disappear from the bookshelf automatically.

Social Media Widgets Guide

Social Media Menu is where you can integrate your Social Media Profiles on your website as widgets. Currently it supports Facebook, Twitter and Flickr. Important: For guide on how to use widgets. Please refer here.

Facebook

Displays your latest facebook status on your website. Please note in, order for this widget to work you must set your Facebook Wall Privacy Settings to"Everyone".

  1. Enter your Facebook User ID.
  2. Click"Save Changes"to reflect changes.
  3. Activate Facebook Status Widget in the Widgets Menu.

How To Find My Facebook ID

  1. Go to"Facebook. com"and log in to your account
  2. Click on the word"Profile"that can be found at the top left of the page. This will bring you to your personal profile page. Several tabs including"Wall","Photos","Info", and"Boxes"appear under your name.
  3. Click on the tab"Photos"just below your name. Your photo albums will be visible once the page loads.
  4. Click any one of the photos in your album. Once the photo loads move your mouse to the URL bar in your browser. This is where you would normally type in a web address.
  5. Move the cursor to the end of the URL, if needed. Some URLs are short enough that the number will be visible immediately. Look for a series of numbers. There may be more than one series of numbers in the URL. Find the set that follows"id=". This is your Facebook ID.

Twitter

Displays your latest tweets on your blog.

  1. Enter your twitter username.
  2. Click"Save Changes"to reflect changes.
  3. Activate Twitter Widget in the Widgets Menu.

Flickr

Displays your latest public photo stream on your blog.

  1. Enter your Flickr username.
  2. Click"Save Changes"to reflect changes.
  3. Activate Flickr Photo Strean Widget in the Widgets Menu.

Theme Options Guide

Customize the look of your website by changing the colors or adding a background image. Click on the"Add Image"button to add background image to your website. To change colors , just click on the input field to pick a color of your liking.

Important: Always click the"Save Changes"button found at the bottom of this page after making changes.
